Skills and Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related), from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
US citizenship is required per contract requirement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, drawings, calculations, and specifications for Mechanical systems and equipment on nuclear or industrial process facilities, data centers, central utility plants, or complex building mechanical systems.
Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to utilize engineering and office automation tools effectively.
Experience developing equipment configuration packages for procurement and maintenance.
Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards, as well as Corporate guides and standards.
Broad knowledge of the application of Mechanical engineering design principles.
Registered Professional Engineer in USA (Mechanical or related Engineering).
Preferred Qualifications:
Related experience in drawing development for design of fluid systems, hydraulics, heat transfer, HVAC, and thermodynamic calculations, and equipment specification.
Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ISO-9000.
Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense.
Experience executing engineering and design with Revit.
Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact.
Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.
