We have an excellent new opening for a Senior System Engineer.
 
Responsibilities of the Senior System Engineer include:
  • Provide development and maintenance plans
  • Design information and operation support systems
  • Oversee production transitions
  • Provide Network Administration services
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Support team at all levels
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Support, install, and configure network operating systems and applications
  • Design and implement secure systems and data backup solutions
  • Write and maintain custom scripts
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

 
Job Requirements

 

Qualifications for the role of Sr System Engineer:
  • 10+ years’ experience in Windows desktop or server installation, design, maintenance, and support
  • A+ and Net+ certifications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, automation software, scripting, and access control
  • Strong networking knowledge
  • Experience with the following:
    • Server 2003/2008/2012
    • Virtualization Technologies –VMware/Hyper-v
    • Deep VMware Experience
    • Microsoft Exchange 2003-2016 & Office 365
    • HP & Dell Server and Blade Server Experience
    • Corporate Antivirus and Anti-SPAM Systems
    • Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Solution Expert, VMware VCP, CISSP, SANS GIAC
    • Storage Platforms
