PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:
The Training Specialist will create and coordinate training activities designed to educate both customers and employees (associates). The incumbent will lead the design, development, creation, effective execution and evaluation of multiple types of high-quality learning solutions and associated metrics that meet current and future business needs of Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. and results in enhanced associate capabilities, performance, and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager. Job duties may change as required by needs of company. Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
- Work cross functionally with leadership to create a great experience for new associates joining Plaza via an onboarding program.
- Conduct effective facilitation of Subject Matter Expert (SME) meetings and content/information gathering meetings for development of appropriate data for learning solutions.
- Lead the needs analyses strategy to determine program design needs.
- Design, develop, deliver, manage, update and maintain:
Prepare facilitators to deliver training solutions (through train the trainer) when required.
Measure training effectiveness through various assessments and evaluations.
Ensure alignment and cohesion of all training activities across the company encompassing professional, leadership, operational, and compliance training.
Serve as the key liaison for learning and development activities on business integrations as appropriate.
Continuously seek external perspective and best practices in the industry to develop and implement training solutions to support the business
Travel Required – approximately 15%.
