PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION: The User Acceptance Testing Manager is responsible for managing user acceptance testing for releases and new projects within the organization, as well as developing test cases with users, product managers, and other teams.
Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive  The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager.  Job duties may change as required by needs of company. Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
  1. Develop User Acceptance Testing plan template that includes assignments, resources, issues log, and deadlines.
  2. Coordinate user acceptance testing for strategic projects and or work involving technology changes with an emphasis on end-to-end testing.
  3. Work closely with partners (line of business, technology, etc.) to ensure requirements are translated accurately into robust testing plans and scripts that support the project needs.
  4. Leads UAT execution with line of business testing partners for all releases, including defect management and status reporting.
  5. Develop and execute robust end-to-end test plans and scripts.
  6. Anticipate needs, identify and mitigate risks and minimize potential problems.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work onsite –this is not a remote opportunity
  • 5 years’ experience in financial services or mortgage banking industry
  • Expertise in developing/documenting testing strategies, including test plan development, schedule creation, and QA reporting
  • Demonstrates problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to support more than one initiative simultaneously while coordinating projects large or small requiring creative solutions under compressed timelines
  • Proven relationship management/engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively with managers, peers and business partners at all levels of the organization
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to connect across groups
  • Ability to adapts to a constantly changing environment
