PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:

This position will over see the production of all the Account Executives assigned, ensuring quality customer service and business knowledge from all Account Executives within their territory, and ensuring monthly production goals are met.          
           
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive.  The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager.  Job duties may change as required by needs of company.  Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
  1. Oversees all sales activity and performance within the region in collaboration with Regional Vice President.
  2. Assist in the review of loan packages if needed to ensure compliance with underwriting standards.
  3. Answer Account Executive inquiries regarding policy and procedure.
  4. Assist in the development of new marketing opportunities
  5. Maintain familiarity with the applicable state licensing requirements
  6. Ensure Account Executives are gathering all applicable financials, resumes, licenses, and contract documentation for submission to the Regional Vice President.
  7. Maintain contact with client base as a quality control measure.
  8. Monitor the Account Executives’ production and business growth.
  9. Provide training for and conduct informational meetings with the Account Executives.
  10. Maintain familiarity with the applicable state licensing requirements.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in loan origination with a track record of success in the mortgage industry and have the ability to motivate the staff.
  • Current producing client base is strongly desired
  • Must possess solid understanding of wholesale loan origination, underwriting processes and procedures, and mortgage industry standards
  • Excellent  written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills essential along with strong presentation skills
  • Professional demeanor to effectively interact with all branch and company personnel as well as brokers
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work and manage time.
  • Solid commitment to customer service with excellent client relations skills
  • Analytical ability with an aptitude for figures necessary
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet Browsers
  • Account Executives who will be driving on company business will be required to maintain a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a clean driving record
