Evaluate exploration and development opportunities. Participate in seismic acquisition and process theory and application, including pre-stack depth migration. Utilize geophysical skill set, including detailed seismic well ties, interpretation techniques for stratigraphic and structural style characterization, and reservoir property characterization. Perform seismic attribute mapping to understand reservoir quality and rock mechanical properties. Work on seismic modeling and elastic inversion. Utilize seismic quantitative interpretation techniques using seismic rock properties to perform tasks related to seismic acquisition, processing, and geomechanics projects. Use current 3D seismic workstation while working on the company projects providing horizontal drilling support. Perform field development tasks as needed. Integrate geologic models with the seismic interpretation.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geophysics
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of experience as Geologist, Geophysicist, or Subsurface Manager.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The required three (3) years of experience must have been in the oil and gas exploration and production industry.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
