Candidate will work in a fast-pace, multidisciplinary environment to support multiple technical groups within the Sustainable Power Team. Strong technical background in chemistry is required amongst other related technical abilities. Ability to multitask between multiple different projects simultaneously. Candidate must demonstrate ability to consolidate ideas and data into digestible written and oral presentation and must be excellent at communicating either way. Candidate must be a well-organized, detail-oriented person with a self-motivated desire to be part of team success. Duties to include (but not limited to):
Assists in chemistry experiments to gain understanding related to CO2 separation such as:
Oxygen degradation of liquid amines
Corrosion rates of different materials under amine exposure
Thermal requirement duties for different rich amine unloading
Absorption capacities and reaction kinetics for various amines
Absorption geometries and optimization in heat integration
Testing of alternate CO2 absorption materials
Maintains monthly financial results for team
AFE generation, routing, approvals, and tracking
Accrual management
Monthly CAPEX actuals / forecasting
Monthly OPEX actuals / forecasting
Assists larger team in other data analytics
Uses SQL to query various databases to answer analytical questions related to company emissions and reduction strategies
Uses Spotfire and Excel to visualize data to help team make key decisions related to emissions reduction strategies
General support duties
Maintains team calendar, vacation, man-hour allocations
Compiles, reviews, and proofs power point and other written documents
Coordinates internal and external meetings with vendors and other divisions for collaboration
