POSITION OVERVIEW:    

The Regional Executive Director is a key management leader of Acacia Network. This position is part of the Executive Team and responsible for managing the administration, Grant based programs, and strategic plan of Upstate programs [Buffalo & Dunkirk] as directed by the Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Director represents the department at board and senior leadership meetings and provides direction for staff all while developing strategies for programs and operations that support the program's overall growth.  Salary is $150k per year

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:    

*    Develops internal and external relationships that result in program growth.
*    Leads day to day operations, including but not limited to grants-based programs, housing and health homes.  
*    Ensures administrative and financial processes and policies are implemented and adhered to by program staff.
*    Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, community partners and government agencies.
*    Responsible for both internal and external structuring, leading teams to deliver high-quality programming and identifying best practices to improve internal systems.
*    Supervises staff to endure the delivery of high quality and efficient care management services.
*    Interacts with internal stakeholders and represent program, departmental and agency positions, concerns, and responses professionally with the goal of shared, mutual understanding.
*    Identifies new program funding sources and in conjunction with departmental and agency staff, develop responses for continued programmatic support and program expansion.
*    Completes monthly, annual, or other periodic requests for narrative or quantitative data reports for funding sources or internal departments.
*    Communicates effectively with Executive team in identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of program operations.
*    Maintains coherent and comprehensive tracking systems to ensure service deliverables and financial goals are achieved including the accuracy and timeliness of entry.
*    Oversees and leading the efficient administration of the budget and billing process, create and implement new systems as needs are identified.
*    Reviews program financial targets monthly with periodic updates on variances and suggest changes to maximize revenue.
*    Identifies staff training needs and gaps and location training resources. Ensure staff attend mandatory training. Implement and maintain system for tracking staff attendance.
 
REQUIREMENTS:    

*    Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a senior management position in a nonprofit organization.
*    Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
*    Demonstrated leadership and success in high level thinking, planning, and responding to multiple priorities.
*    Extensive experience and knowledge in community-based programs with an emphasis on substance abuse counseling, preventive social services, senior services, supportive housing, and food services.
*    Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making.
*    Supervisory experience preferred.
*    Must be able to multi task with strong organizational skills.
*    Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and in written form.
