Assists Assistant VP of Finance with the managing of the accounting functions of the organization.

Handles all financial reporting aspects of the various Federal/State/City grants for the organization including filing of required costs reports and submission of claims/vouchers.

Responsible for the preparation of the monthly Financial Statements and yearly closing.

Maximizes reimbursement on all grants by ensuring appropriate cost allocation and by adhering to budget guidelines.

Ensures that all grant related costs are appropriately stated in the General Ledger while maintaining the records in accordance with GAAP.

Analyze weekly cash flow analysis and projections

Oversee operations relating to accounts receivable and accounts payable

Research inconsistencies in A/R and A/P

Conducts account reconciliations and analysis on a regular basis.

Assists Senior Management on all grant related financial requests and in special projects.

Oversees external audits for assigned entity.

Supervises Accounting Staff and provide training and assistance as required.

Monitors organization’s fiscal issues and make recommendations as needed.
