Under supervision of the Director of Tenant Services, the Tenant Services Coordinator is responsible for providing support to tenants/guests/staff. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities as defined by the ADA to perform the essential functions of the job.
 
Responsibilities consist of but not limited to:
 
 
Tenant Support
  • Welcome and orient new tenants; serve as tenant contact for questions and concerns; keep social service and building management informed of tenant involvement
  • Create and process work orders and coordinate property/unit access
  • Respond to all tenant requests and calls to determine urgency
  • Track service calls from entry to close via work order management software
  • Schedule and coordinate required maintenance for vacant unit turnover
  • Handle proactive analysis and resolution for inspections, permits, violations, etc
  • Schedule fire life safety inspections for building systems as necessary
  • Set up, review, and enforce maintenance and/or service contracts for properties
  • Ensure that all service and maintenance request are addressed in a timely manner
  • Manage certificates of insurance for vendors
Reporting
  • Oversee development and implementation of a wide range of programs and activities for residents
  • Produce monthly building newsletters and create flyers
  • Document all services in AWARDS and maintain Face2Face contacts in the database
  • Report on outcomes, goals, and data tracking
  • Keep an updated file of vendors; order and track supplies
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or an equivalent related field required
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish), preferred
  • Two (2+) years previous relevant experience in a Mental or Behavioral Health environment required
  • Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion
  • Must be able to multi task with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and in written form
  • Commitment to cultural diversity and sensitivity
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure, and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned
