We are seeking A Program Director that, under the direction of the Branch Administrator, will be responsible for overseeing all facets of clinical and administrative services- including hiring and training. Responsible for the direct oversight of all front-end revenue cycle activities, including billing, collections, denials, self-pay, monitoring missing charges and running monthly reports. Reviews medical provider’s schedules, coordinates staff needs, maintains equipment and supplies, review statistical reports, and participates in quality improvement reviews, monitors compliance as it relates to JCAHO, OASAS, DEA and DOH requirements. Responsible for the overall performance (regulatory, financial, and quality of care) of the program to which assigned.
Responsibilities consist of but not limited to:
- Direct, supervise, and evaluate work activities of medical, behavioral health, non-clinical, support staff and other personnel.
- Oversee fiscal operations: planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, and coordinating financial reporting. Ensure key indicators are met.
- Interpretation of policies and procedures to be able to provide supervision in all clinical matters to staff and patients. Provide prevention, detection, and resolution of conduct that does not conform to applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with all subdivisions within the organization, including facilities, finance, revenue management, payroll, legal and others.
- Collaborate with Human Resources concerning employee relations (union and non-union staff). Recommends action to be taken in the alleviation of problem areas.
- Maintain EHR record management systems to record, store and process information and reports as needed. Ongoing record reviews to ensure compliance with Federal/State requirements.
- Participate in program evaluation activities and deliver (or learn to deliver) services using evidenced-based practices.
- Prepare activity reports to inform administration of the status and integration of programs, services, and quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to secure staff compliance with credentialing.
- Monitor program and staff to ensure a safe environment, effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment and services.
- Provide supervision and training to program personnel so that department goals are communicated effectively. Continuously evaluate staff performance.
- Attend all required management and supervision meetings. Active participation in community meetings. Provide external representation.

- Provide leadership, guidance, direction, and supervision to all staff including administrative staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of services plans and summary notes
- Conduct/review client intake screenings.
- Secure ongoing chart reviews meetings as part of quality assurance process.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology of related Human Services field required.
- LMSW/LMHC required; LCSW preferred. Must have CASAC credential or obtain within 12-months of hire.
- Must have minimum of three years clinical work experience in the chemical dependence field.
- At least six-years of experience in a supervisory, management or leadership role.
- Must complete Clinical Supervision Foundations Training I and II within six months of hire and SBIRT, MAT, Ethics and Confidentiality online training within 30-days of hire.
- Knowledge of OASAS, JCAHO, OMIG, and other regulatory bodies.
- Proficient computer skills including experience using an electronic health record.
- Excellent engagement and communication skills. Strong follow-up skills required.
- Specialized experience in mental health, trauma and family engagement are a plus.
- Knowledge and experience of evidence-based practices, utilizing a person-centered approach.
- Must have strong knowledge of OASAS regulations; preferably 819 and 820.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
- Bilingual preferred.
