Salary: $80,000-$120,000+ depending on experience

Job Overview:
RCSI is seeking a seasoned Tenant Improvement (TI) Superintendent to oversee commercial interior renovation and build-out projects across California. This role is responsible for field supervision, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. As the Superintendent, you'll be on-site ensuring high-quality execution and representing RCSI's commitment to excellence and innovation in construction management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day site operations for TI projects, ensuring that schedules, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Subcontractor Oversight: Coordinate subcontractors, schedule trades, and hold teams accountable for timely, high-quality work.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with the project manager to develop and maintain construction schedules and logistics plans.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction progress, inspect workmanship, and ensure project specifications and client expectations are met.
  • Safety Leadership: Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols on job sites.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, owners' reps, and stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve issues.
  • Document Management: Maintain daily logs, jobsite photos, safety reports, and as-built documentation.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve field issues, coordinating with project management for support as needed.
  • Punch & Close-Out: Oversee project completion, including punch list management and final client walkthroughs.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Field Supervisor in commercial construction.
  • Extensive experience with tenant improvement projects, especially in occupied buildings or high-end commercial spaces.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and structural plans.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in construction scheduling tools (MS Project, Procore, or similar).
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites throughout California.

Schedule:
  • Full Time - Monday to Friday
  • In-office at our Escondido, CA headquarters

Work Location:
