The Role 

The VP of Sales - International is responsible for developing and executing a roadmap to grow distribution with high-quality distributors and high-quality retailers internationally. This VP will be a big thinker and have a desire to build a strong path to success for the company's brands. Success will require creative programs for both the retailers and distributors to grow this brand.  

Experience in growing penetration into an existing market, opening new channels of business in other continents while taking regional laws and policies as well as launching new skus are a must. 

This leader will be able to successfully work with finance for program approvals and legal for contract development. They will need to have an understanding of rules and regulations for selling into countries within the EU, and have a background in age restricted products.

Winning in this role looks like generating new recurring business in the EU as a supplier of raw materials. Creating a tangible penetration of the existing market and hitting revenue targets for 2024.  The right candidate is ready to own this role, and lead by personal example with the organization. Requisitos de trabajo

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Own key relationships within EU/and Or Latin America in CPG products or Age gated products 

  • Take the lead in developing programs that incentivizes distributors to carry products in more outlets, and online retailers. 

  • On-board new distribution partners, as well as expand into supplying branded products as a primary vendor.

  • Develop and build the organization to allow us to achieve our goals and objectives with new business in Europe and Latin America. 

  • Manage team members located remotely in the EU.  

  • Manage program specific P&L's and ensure ROI on key programs. 

 

Requirements: 

  • 7 years in sales leadership roles with CPG or Age Gated companies 

  • Strong relationships with International or European Distribution into specialty or retail

  • Extensive knowledge in distributor management 

  • A 'Hunter' mindset. Seek out and deliver growth opportunities. 

  • Understand budget development and monitoring with knowledge of P&L for all operations.  

  • Proven record of strong negotiation and leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong record of leadership and management as member of a senior team ideally reporting the CEO or other senior business executive (CRO, GM, President, etc.)
