Job Description
Our client has an immediate opening for a full-time Construction Inspection Project Manager. This individual will work under our Transportation Division but will perform construction inspection duties for both transportation and site engineering projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be a proactive communicator, and want to achieve quality construction project outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Represent owner as the on-site representative
- Daily operations for site(s) and compliance with plans, contract documents, and specifications
- All aspects of project inspection, including, but not limited to:
- Inspection of earthwork, paving, storm sewers, traffic signals, etc. to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Preparation and submission of inspection reports
- Keeping accurate records of work performed for purposes of payment to the Contractor, material records, and preparation of the final construction record
- Act as liaison between prime contractor and owner
Minimum Requirements:
- Certified with INDOT through their Certified Technician Program (passed all 6 areas of certification)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, management, and other technical skills necessary to perform the duties of this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Site Manager experience (programming)
- IMSA Signal Tech - Level I or II
