Our client is seeking a highly skilled IT Data Operations Manager with specialized experience in healthcare infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, reliability, and security within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

·        Infrastructure Management: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust data infrastructure systems tailored for healthcare environments.

·        Data Security: Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA) by implementing and maintaining strict security protocols for data storage, transmission, and access.

·        Team Leadership: Manage a team of IT professionals responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading data infrastructure components.

·        Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to procure necessary hardware, software, and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.

·        Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement strategies for continuous monitoring of infrastructure performance, identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

·        Disaster Recovery: Design and implement robust disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical healthcare data, ensuring rapid recovery in the event of system failures or natural disasters.

·        Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

·        Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including executives, IT staff, and healthcare professionals, to provide updates on infrastructure performance, projects, and initiatives.

·        Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support organizational objectives while adhering to financial constraints.

·        Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in healthcare IT infrastructure, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Required Skills

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

·        Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on healthcare environments.

·        In-depth knowledge of healthcare data regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA.

·        Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

·        Extensive experience with infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to servers, storage systems, networking, virtualization, and cloud computing.

·        Proficiency in implementing and managing security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

·        Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·        Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, ITIL) are a plus.
