Position Summary:
We are hiring a Cash Collection Associate/Cashier who is responsible for posting payments, collecting cash, and checking managed care/insurance. 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • 1 year of related experience in cash handling. 
Key Duties:
  • Collects payments for medical, dental and diagnostic patient visits. 
  • Reconciles money at beginning and end of shift. 
  • Verifies insurance, answers telephones, and assists with other related tasks and activities assigned
  • Ensures quality customer service.

Starting Compensation: Minimum $17.25 per hour; Maximum $17.25 per hour

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:
This position is based in Corona, Queens and requires a 40 hour/week commitment, including shifts that fall on the weekend. Must be able to work Monday - Thursday between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm and Saturdays 7:00am-1:30pm. (off Fridays and Sundays)
