Position Summary:
The Outreach and Enrollment Manager is a position that is responsible for the overall management of our Outreach and Enrollment Department. Within this department, we operate numerous grant-funded programs which are geared towards providing our patients, communities, and small businesses with the ability to enroll into health insurance via the New York State of Health (Medicaid, Essential Plan, Child Health Plus, Qualified Health Plans and SHOP and more)

This position provides overall administrative management and program coordination of staff, programs, and program-deliverables.
 
Key Duties:
  • Provides management and supervision of associates within the team including hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and payroll.
  • Ensures adherence to grant contract terms along with the timely and accurate reporting and compliance with program goals and grant deliverables.
  • Identifies, screens, and assistant individuals with enrollment in health insurance and provides post-enrollment assistance.
  • Develops and executes collaboration plans with the community and Urban Health Plan in order to promote our services.
  • Visits other Urban Health Plan locations and health centers within the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens to promote services.
  • Attends required meetings and completes applicable federal and/or state consumer assistance training.
  • Promotes a dynamic and harmonious team-based environment and supports the growth of staff members and the programs we manage within Outreach and Enrollment.
  • Coordinates quality improvement activities for the department.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or other related fields of study.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience supervising employees within a program.
  • Excellent communication, data reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing grant programs is highly desired.
  • Commitment to excellence and to providing quality service to patients. 
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
 
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:
Onsite, Bronx, NY, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Ability to work Saturday as needed for special outreach events and activities.

Compensation:  
$70,000-$75,000/annum based on 40 regular hours per week.
