Position summary:
We are currently hiring a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Service Representatives (PSR) to join our Plaza Del Sol Family Health Center. The Patient Service Presentative provides information, support, encouragement, and assistance to patients and families as they arrive at the health care facility. This role greets and registers patients and visitors, verifies and records patient information, and provides comfort and empathy to patients while maintaining the waiting room. This role provides accurate and consistent information to patients, schedule appointments, and resolves patient concerns.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required 
  • 1 year of healthcare experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required. 
  • Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients.
  • Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures.  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  
 
Starting Compensation: $19.50 per hour based on 40 hours per week. 
 
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:
Applicants must be comfortable working onsite, based out of Queens and have availability to commit to a schedule of 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm and rotating Saturday 7:00 to 1:30pm.
