Position Summary:
Our Community-Based Research Department, housed in the Bronx is currently hiring a Clinical Research Nurse (RN). The Research Nurse supports our clinical trials as we screen patients, conduct site visits, collect data, and report in accordance with regulations.
A research nurse is essential to ensure the integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance of all clinical studies. They bridge patient care and research by implementing study protocols, performing assessments, and managing investigational products.
Key Duties:
- Administers medications, monitors reactions, and assess patient health needs.
- Acts as a liaison between investigators, primary care providers, IRB, and sponsor.
- Screens, enrolls, and follows study subjects (field work required).
- Conducts trials per protocol, including recruitment, follow-up and reporting
- Ensures protocol compliance while subjects are involved in the study.
- Data and source documentation, including reporting adverse experiences.
- Communicates protocol issues professionally with staff, sponsors, and monitors
- Specimen collection, processing, storage, and shipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
- Valid NYS Registered Professional Nurse Licensure required.
- 2-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detailed-oriented with ability to multi-task.
- Certified in Good Clinical Practices and Human Subject Research Protection.
Starting Compensation: Minimum: $98,560 per annum; Maximum: $103,560 per annum.
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:
Onsite, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm shift, Bronx, NY.
