Position Summary:
Working in our Plaza del Sol Community Health Center in Corona, Queens, we are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our team. Plaza del Sol is an outpatient health center dedicated to providing our community and families with comprehensive and quality primary care, diagnostics, and specialty health care. This is a part time position for 16 hours per week/2 days per week.
- Produces radiographs within scope of services.
- Setups up and operated radiographic and magnetic imaging equipment used in medical diagnosis and/or in treatment of patients.
- Prepares room and briefs patient on nature of procedure.
- Provides positioning and immobilization devices as needed.
- Selects and operates equipment according to exam protocols. Provides radiation protection according to safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Knowledge of electronic health records and managing patient data.
- Bilingual Spanish/English highly desired.
Compensation: Hourly rate is $40.00-$50.00/hour contingent on experience level.
