Our well-established client is currently seeking a Clinical Application Administrator to join their growing team in Albany, NY. Experience working with EMR or EHR applications required. 


Responsibilities of the Clinical Application Administrator:

  • Responsible for IT related administration, including design and setup, maintenance, and enhancement of Clinical Applications and interfaces. This Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Practice Management system (PM), etc.
  • Provide user and technical support to users for a subset of supported software applications
  • Act as the liaison between application users and the IT department or software vendors to gain intricate knowledge of the applications
  • Provide support for the EMR for the pediatric nursing home; Point Click Care, and any other clinical application and associated hardware
  • Create and maintain technical application documents and user documentation for all supported software
  • Additional duties as assigned

 
Job Requirements

 

Qualifications of the Clinical Application Administrator:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of IT experience, preferably in Clinical Applications
  • Experience working with EMR or EHR applications required
  • Experience with the following: Windows Based Operating Systems, MS SQL, SQL Server, Oracle SQL,.NET, html, java script, Crystal Reports, MS Power-BI
  • Understanding of Medical Claims Billing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
