Our client is currently seeking a Senior Developer to join their growing team. Located in the Albany area with Hybrid opportunity!
Responsibilities of the Senior Developer will include:
Develop responsive, high-performance applications using modern and legacy JavaScript frameworks, Razor views, and C#.
Innovate and implement advanced SQL techniques to ensure data integrity and optimize performance in high-volume record processing.
Incorporate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle to protect sensitive information.
Collaborate closely with QA to maintain work quality and with the Product Manager to align development with business objectives and project specifications.
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and mutual support within the development team.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive progress and system integration.
Document code for maintainability and knowledge transfer.
Utilize version control systems to manage code changes and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
Adapt to a fast-paced operational environment by making timely updates and adjustments to the platform as needed.
Respond to and resolve system issues in real-time to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
Innovate practical solutions within operational constraints to keep systems operational.
Job Requirements
Qualifications of the Senior Developer:
Mastery of both modern and legacy JavaScript frameworks, along with expertise in HTML5 and CSS3.
Extensive understanding of SQL, including proficiency in handling complex database systems, optimizing queries, crafting stored procedures, and designing schemas for high-performance applications.
Thorough comprehension of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and real-time data processing methods.
Familiarity with containerization, serverless computing, and principles of infrastructure as code.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
Superior problem-solving abilities and adeptness in thriving within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in GIT or similar source control systems.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $95,000 - $105,000.
