Are you passionate about ensuring memorable and successful events? Join our client's team as an Event Coordinator! We're seeking a dynamic individual who can oversee events and coordinate tasks to guarantee a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. This is a temporary position located near Saratoga Springs, NY.
Responsibilities of the Event Coordinator will include:
Supervise staff, including teenagers and young adults, during events.
Coordinate work schedules and crew assignments in collaboration with the General Manager.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to event staff as necessary.
Ensure the quality and timely completion of assigned projects.
Provide valuable input to enhance customer service for event customers.
Offer insights to the General Manager regarding potential facility maintenance issues.
Participate in staff evaluations.
Occasionally devise innovative solutions to challenges.
Perform physical tasks such as placing picnic tables, emptying garbage cans, and cleaning bathrooms.
Job Requirements
Qualifications of the Event Coordinator:

Capacity to identify and utilize resources effectively.
Competence in oral, written, and visual communication.
Ability to operate vehicles (trucks, tractors, skid steer) and use small tools safely.
Valid New York State Driver's License.
Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Capacity to work in varying conditions, including high temperature and humidity.
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $20-23/hr.
