Responsibilities of the Founding Front- end Engineer will include:
Work closely with product management, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into efficient frontend solutions.
Develop reusable components and libraries using React.js/Vue.js, following best practices and coding standards.
Implement responsive and mobile-friendly designs for a seamless user experience across all devices.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment process for frontend applications.
Collaborate with backend engineers to seamlessly integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and microservices.
Optimize frontend performance and scalability through techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and caching.
Continuously evaluate and incorporate new tools and frameworks to enhance our platform, staying current with emerging technologies and trends in front-end development.
Job Requirements
Qualifications of the Founding Front- end Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
5-7 years of hands-on experience building modern web applications, specializing in React.js/Vue.js and the Node.js ecosystem.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality front-end code, emphasizing usability, accessibility, and performance.
Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab, Github, or CircleCI.
Familiarity with frontend hosting on AWS, leveraging services such as CloudFront and Amplify.
Solid grasp of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming.
Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail, driven by a commitment to crafting elegant and intuitive user interfaces.

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $100,000 to $140,000.
