Our client has an exciting new direct hire opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Associate! This is a full-time, first shift position located near the Albany, NY, area.
Responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving Associate will include:
Manage the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies
Handle all aspects of receiving, storage, and distribution
Maintain records and important documents
Assist with coordinating logistics
Support quality inspection process
Investigate and resolve issues
Maintain inventory controls and assist with counting physical inventory when needed
Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to and promoting safety and quality standards
Engage with vendors and drivers
Assist with projects and assignments as needed
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requisitos
Qualifications for the Role of Shipping and Receiving Associate:
Previous experience in shipping and receiving, including working with outside shipping companies
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Experience with MS Office applications
Experience with inventory and equipment management
Good data entry and computer skills
Strong communication skills
Good attention to detail
Good organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
Able to regularly lift or move 10-50 lbs; able to occasionally lift or move 100+ lbs
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $21.50 to $23.50 per hour.
