Are you a skilled and strategic thinker with a passion for cybersecurity? Become a crucial member of our clients' growing Security Operations team as a Senior Security Analyst. Located in the Albany area, Fully REMOTE!
Responsibilities of the Sr. Security Analyst will include:
Lead critical information security operations, encompassing threat hunting, detection, analysis, and incident response; collaborate with key partners as necessary.
Develop and enhance incident response and security operations processes to bolster our cybersecurity stance.
Serve as a subject matter expert, aiding in the management and configuration of existing security tools and technologies.
Perform security assessments and ongoing monitoring to pinpoint vulnerabilities and propose remediation strategies.
Partner with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity measures across all operational facets.
Spearhead cybersecurity awareness training initiatives for employees, nurturing a culture of security.
Stay abreast of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to continually fortify our defense mechanisms.
Requisitos
Qualifications of the Sr. Security Analyst:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Security Analyst role, focusing on security operations and incident response.
Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with various security products including M365 Security and Compliance suite, Microsoft Entra, Crowdstrike, Duo, Cisco Umbrella, Varonis, VMWare, Citrix, Barracuda Email Security, Zix, and Palo Alto Networks products.
Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, and cloud security best practices.
Proficiency in creating and managing security documentation and policies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to security.
Effective communication skills for conveying complex security issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH is desirable.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $75,000 to $100,000
