Responsibilities of the Drafter will include:
Utilize 3D Modeling tools, to create accurate and detailed models of products or components.
Apply expertise in 2D drafting, to produce technical drawings and schematics according to project requirements and industry standards.
Demonstrate proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure precise communication of engineering specifications and tolerances on drawings.
Exercise keen attention to detail throughout the design and drafting process to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
Collaborate effectively with the Engineering team by interpreting and working off markups to implement design changes and updates accurately.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and stakeholders to convey design intentions, clarify requirements, and address any inquiries or feedback.
Job Requirements
Qualifications of the Drafter
High school diploma with 2 years of professional experience, or Associates Degree in related field
Prior experience with 3D modeling software, Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks, and AutoCAD 2&3D
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized and self-motivated individual
Detail oriented and deadline driven
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly $65,000
