Join our client's team as a contract Technology Services Coordinator, overseeing the contracted network services individuals with a focus on Proactive PC/Workstation Management and Monitoring. In this role, you will collaborate closely with company administration and the technology department to fulfill the duties of an On-Site Technology Services Coordinator. This is a hybrid position located near North Salem, NY.
Responsibilities of the Technology Services Coordinator will include:
Install and configure ancillary computer hardware such as printers, scanners, keyboards, and mice, ensuring seamless integration with print servers and relevant print management tools.
Troubleshoot printing issues and liaise with vendors to address connectivity and warranty issues for hardware and software.
Administer Microsoft Active Directory and manage Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other applications.
Maintain and manage the backup systems and oversee the setup and management of all accounts and passwords.
Perform annual network migrations of data between buildings and departments, adhering to security policies and permissions.
Monitor user activity and implement content filtering using Cisco Umbrella, Google Admin Console, and other systems.
Provide proactive help desk support for all staff, ensuring rapid problem resolution and preventive maintenance.
Conduct regular system performance reporting and documentation.
Monitoring and managing critical server systems, including Dell SAN shared storage.
Implementing preventive maintenance and security measures for Windows and third-party software updates.
Managing malware and antivirus software protection and conducting automated weekly and monthly system performance reporting.
Managing security platform and wireless networks.
Configuring secured VPN access for remote users and outside systems.
Maintaining network infrastructure and ensuring network security and system configurations are up to date.
Facilitate quarterly Technology Management meetings and assist in the revision of the technology plan.
Support disaster recovery systems, business continuity, and compliance with electronic records retention policies.
Develop the annual technology budget in alignment with company goals and provide recommendations for hardware and network software.
Supervise technology staff, monitor technology projects, and coordinate technology upgrades with administration.
Communicate regularly with staff about upgrades, changes, and future technology needs.
Job Requirements
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $70-80/hr.
