We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our client's team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in assembling, packing, and shipping products while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include operating various packaging and manufacturing equipment, maintaining machinery, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and contributing to overall team productivity.
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator will include:
Operate machinery for production, filling, and packaging duties
Manage packing equipment coding equipment.
Monitor conveyors, pallet jacks, and fork trucks.
Complete quality related paperwork.
Maintain specialized machinery.
Understand and apply industry standards and regulations.
Keep records of production output.
Follow safety procedures and ensure the wellbeing of team members.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and scrap.
Assist in starting up and setting up production lines.
Perform various tasks including paperwork, data entry, and equipment troubleshooting.
Cross-train in different positions within the production process.
Monitor equipment performance and product quality.
Assist team members during downtime or emergencies.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Job Requirements
Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4-6 years of related experience preferred.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to adhere to dress code and work effectively in a team.
Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
Punctual and able to work rotating shifts.
Capable of working with or without supervision.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18-20/hr.
