We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Financial Controller, overseeing all aspects of our client's accounting operations located in Clifton Park, NY. As the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for managing the Balance Sheet and Income Statement, crafting financial forecasts, and delivering precise financial insights to the Senior Team Members. Additionally, you'll spearhead the implementation of operational best practices, driving efficiency across departments.
Responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:
Directing and coordinating all accounting functions
Providing accurate financial information to senior leadership
Leading annual independent and external audits
Defining and implementing operational best practices
Job Requirements
Qualifications of the Financial Controller:
5-7 years of experience in public accounting; CPA preferred
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accounting preferred
Exceptional technology, analytical, and management skills
Strong verbal communication skills in group settings
Demonstrated sense of urgency and follow-up abilities
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives and lead teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $95,000 - $115,000, DOE.
