We are currently recruiting for an IT Specialist near Sistersville, WV to provide essential technical support, enabling users across multiple locations to carry out their business activities seamlessly. This role involves ensuring that IT issues are promptly escalated to the appropriate support teams with a sense of urgency. As a self-driven individual, you will take ownership of solution and project management for new technologies, collaborating with site leadership, key business personnel, IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and technology partners.
 
Responsibilities of the IT Specialist will include:
  • Prioritize and facilitate support issues, including Break-Fixes, Site Projects, IT initiatives, and Compliance activities,              while also handling administrative functions to coordinate site activities.
  • Act as a "site advocate," resolving issues promptly and efficiently, and taking ownership of larger issues until resolution        is achieved.
  • Develop strong relationships with site leaders and the user base, monitoring user experience and providing C-Level            support for incidents and requests.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies to meet business needs, serving as a thought leader for IT strategies and                solutions and establishing relationships with key partners to drive solutions.
  • Assist managing the planning and execution for IT projects in your region, coordinating with local parties to inform them      of new technologies.
  • Promote, enforce, and occasionally create IT policies, processes, and standards, maintaining high professional ethics          and delivering world-class IT services.
  • Maintain a continuous learning mindset, staying updated on new technologies and trends in the field.

 
Requisitos

 

Qualifications of the IT Specialist:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • IT Support Certifications (Microsoft, A+, etc.).
  • Working experience with Microsoft products.
  • Proficiency in WAN, LAN topology, and support.
  • Ability to install, configure, and set up workstations, servers, and printers.
  • Physical ability to rack and stack IT equipment across multiple locations and willingness to walk long distances based         on site requirements.
  • Possession of a driver's license (preferably with own transportation).
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/O365 applications, with Visio skills preferred.
  • Working experience with the Avaya phone system (optional).
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in IT customer support and business partnership.
 
 
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $32/hr.
