Our well-established client is currently seeking a Support Center Engineer II to join their growing team in the Capital Region. 

 

Responsibilities of the Support Center Engineer include:

  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support for managed services customers
  • Document all pertinent end-user information in ticketing systems
  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot patching for devices
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose error messages and failures
  • Provide connectivity support for user's devices
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Other duties as assigned 

 
Job Requirements

 

Qualifications of the Support Center Engineer:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2+ years of IT engineering experience
  • Professional certifications a plus
  • Working experience with Networking, WAN, LAN, Windows Administration
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated individual
  • Detail oriented and deadline driven
