Our client has multiple openings for SeniorSystems/Network Administrators! These are temp-to-hire positions which offer great benefits and excellent potential for growth after permanent hire. Positions have various locations.
Responsibilities of the Systems/Network Administrator will include:
Provide Tier 2 technical support to end users remotely and on-site
Maintain IT operations, including applications, servers, operating systems, email systems, equipment, security, etc.
Manage critical IT systems and tasks and support IT infrastructure and networking
Perform server administration tasks
Lead projects and solutions; provide updates on project status, successes, activities, etc.
Use diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot issues and resolve user tickets; escalate issues as necessary
Respond to user questions and explain technical products, equipment usage, upgrades, etc.
Perform regular system audits and backups
Monitor datacenter
Troubleshoot hardware issues and build, test, and maintain new servers
Provide internet, intranet, LAN, WAN, and network support
Maintain internal infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, computers, printers, firewalls, etc.
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications for the role of Systems/Network Administrator:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Previous experience in an IT role
Strong customer service skills
Understanding of operating systems and current technologies
Experience with enterprise backup and recovery, active directories, and system performance monitoring
Able to travel to customer sites as needed
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, up to $30/hr.
