Our client in Albany is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Technician to join their growing team.
Responsibilities of the Senior Data Engineer:
Demonstrate systems for customers and explain causes and consequences of false alarms
Educate customers on preventative care and regular maintenance to prevent system malfunctions
Communication daily with service manager and dispatchers on project delays, requirements, and general status of job
Keep tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, etc.
Complete and produce reports that are legible, accurate, and detailed
Perform fire alarm system repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and replace defective parts
Perform programming on multiple fire alarm systems
Use product manuals to repair non-functioning fire alarms and restore fire alarms to original functionality.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications of the Senior Data Engineer:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
5+ years of related experience
Valid driver's license required
Able to work flexible hours for on-call rotations
Able to lift, carry, and move tools and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds
