Entry/Junior Level Accountant Latham, NY Posted: 2/2/2023
Our local client has an opening on their team for an Accountant. This is a wonderful opportunity for both entry and junior-level accountants.
Responsibilities of the Accountant will include:
Provide daily accounting for firm clients Record daily activities across multiple entities Interact daily with clients and team members Preparation and/or review of cash reporting and preparation of payments via wire/check Prepare monthly or quarterly client report preparation Assist with the preparation of financial statements and related workpapers Other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance, or a two-year degree with a minimum of three years' experience in an accounting related field 1-2 years accounting experience Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills Flexibility to work hours needed to complete client deliverables Ability to learn various accounting related systems Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel Ability to work independently or as part of a team Detail oriented and deadline driven Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay for this positio n is commensurate with experience and education, ranging from $55,000-$90,000.
