Construction Safety Manager

Location: Near Wilson, NC
Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000
Employment Type: Full-Time | Project-Based (Travel Required)

Position Overview

Our growing client is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across active project sites. This role is responsible for implementing and enforcing safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a strong culture of safety among field teams.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a safety professional who thrives in dynamic project environments and is passionate about protecting teams and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Program Management

• Develop, implement, and enforce job site safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety requirements
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all project teams

Training & Leadership

• Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for field personnel
• Provide guidance and direction to teams on safe work practices
• Lead by example to reinforce safety expectations on-site

Site Inspections & Risk Mitigation

• Perform regular safety audits and job site inspections
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents
• Monitor ongoing work to ensure adherence to safety protocols

Incident Investigation & Reporting

• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses
• Prepare reports and recommend preventative measures
• Collaborate with leadership to improve safety performance

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and field teams
• Provide updates and recommendations to leadership on safety performance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety practices
