Assembly Technician Rensselaer, NY Posted: 2/27/2026
Our client is seeking a temporary Assembly Technician to join their team! This position is located outside of Albany, NY.
Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician will include:
Assemble and test products, including mechanical assembly of subcomponents Maintain tools Complete data entry and documentation tasks Follow detailed work instructions Maintain a clean work area Report issues and assist with process improvements Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications for the Assembly Technician :
Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with wiring Good communication skills with a commitment to customer service Able to follow directions and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment Good hand-eye coordination 2+ years' experience in a similar role is a plus Associates degree in physics, engineering, or another STEM field is a plus
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $20-$22/hr.
