Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Order Selector/Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team near Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and wrapping customer orders, operating a forklift to load/unload trucks, and selecting orders off the shelves. This role requires commitment to safety and efficiency and a proactive approach to keeping the warehouse organized and clean.
Responsibilities of the Order Selector/Forklift Operator will include:
Accurately pick, pack, and wrap customer orders to meet delivery deadlines.
Operate forklifts and other equipment to load/unload trucks and select orders from shelving units.
Safely use manual and powered warehouse equipment.
Sort and organize products in their designated warehouse locations.
Assist in general warehouse upkeep, including cleaning and organizing.
Participate in other warehouse tasks as required.
Aptitudes Requises
Qualifications of the Order Selector/Forklift Operator:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous forklift experience is required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task.
Competence in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and familiarity with units of measure.
Capability to lift and move up to 165 pounds on a regular basis.
Effective communication skills with the ability to follow directions and work well with management and team members.
Salary: $21/hr.
