A growing composites manufacturer in the greater Albany, NY area is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Machinist to join its production team. This role supports the fabrication of precision composite components used across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate machining equipment, including CNC machines, mills, and routers
Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with troubleshooting
Uphold safety, cleanliness, and quality standards within the department
Contribute to ongoing process and productivity improvements
Cross-train as needed to support additional production areas
Aptitudes Requises
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate:
Has hands-on machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Works well independently and in a team setting
Pays strong attention to detail
Can perform effectively with limited supervision
Approaches challenges with problem-solving skills and a mindset for continuous improvement
Interacts with others in a respectful, professional manner
(Bonus) Has experience in composites manufacturing, though this is not required
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, day-shift position (M-F, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM).
Starting pay: $23/hour, depending on experience
