Our client in the Albany, NY area is seeking a Sales & Marketing Specialist to support both revenue growth and brand visibility within a manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting sales operations, and creating marketing content that drives results. This is a full-time permanent role following a 90-day temp-to-hire period. Responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Specialist will include:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue goals and business objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals
- Track sales performance, analyze results, and recommend strategy adjustments
- Promote company products and expand customer accounts through targeted outreach
- Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide timely order status updates and coordinate shipping schedules
- Organize completed materials according to customer specifications
- Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Design and execute marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels
- Conduct market research to evaluate trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
- Develop marketing content such as brochures, ads, social media posts, and blog materials
- Analyze market conditions and identify new growth opportunities
