Our client in the Albany, NY area is seeking a Sales & Marketing Specialist to support both revenue growth and brand visibility within a manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting sales operations, and creating marketing content that drives results. This is a full-time permanent role following a 90-day temp-to-hire period. It is on-site and offers excellent growth potential for a motivated professional with strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Specialist will include:
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue goals and business objectives
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and referrals
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
Conduct sales presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals
Tracksales performance, analyze results, and recommend strategy adjustments
Promote company products and expand customer accounts through targeted outreach
Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Provide timely order status updates and coordinate shipping schedules
Organize completed materials according to customer specifications
Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
Design and execute marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels
Conduct market research to evaluate trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
Develop marketing content such as brochures, ads, social media posts, and blog materials
Analyze market conditionsand identify new growth opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to support strong customer service and brand consistency
Requisitos
Qualifications for the role of Sales & Marketing Specialist:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
1-5 years of sales/marketing experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred
SAP experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prepare and present information in one-on-one or small-group settings
Strong basic math skills, including ability to compute percentages and interpret data graphs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong customer service mindset and ability to handle inquiries professionally
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
