Our client, located near Albany, NY, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout all stages of the litigation process. This includes assisting with case preparation, discovery, trials, post-trial work, and appeals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and is committed to providing high-quality support to both clients and legal teams.

Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal will include:

• Assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.
• Draft and review legal correspondence and documents, such as complaints, summonses, bills of particulars, discovery requests and responses,           and settlement agreements.
• Prepare, file, and serve motions, affidavits, and legal memoranda.
• Handle court filings, including summonses, complaints, applications for index numbers, notices of medical malpractice actions, and other                 documents.
• Perform e-filing in Federal Court and New York State Court of Claims.
• Collect and manage client medical records in electronic filing systems.
• Organize, maintain, and update case files and documents for attorney review.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, expert witnesses, and vendors.
• Schedule meetings, interviews, and other appointments.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
