Position Title: Business Systems Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a Business Systems Specialist to support and optimize our client's property management and accounting software platforms, including Entrata, Yardi Voyager, or similar SaaS solutions. This role will focus on system maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and user training, ensuring our property management teams operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
System Maintenance & Technical Operations
- Provide day-to-day support for corporate and on-site staff across multiple property types, including Affordable, Student Housing, Commercial, Multi-family, and Active Adult communities.
- Maintain and configure user profiles, account trees, menus, modules, and business rules.
- Manage and resolve technical issues through a help desk ticketing system, ensuring timely and thorough responses.
- Support property managers and staff with tasks such as resident ledger troubleshooting, password resets, and role/permission alignment.
- Escalate critical issues to vendor support and act as primary technical contact, monitoring resolution progress.
- Serve as liaison with managed IT service providers to ensure secure, reliable IT infrastructure.
Training & Development
- Lead training sessions for new and existing employees on property management and accounting software.
- Develop instructional materials, handouts, and webinars to enhance user adoption and efficiency.
- Conduct user testing, quality assurance, and validation of new modules, system upgrades, and enhancements.
Project Management & SOP Development
- Participate in new module implementations, system upgrades, and onboarding of new properties.
- Lead testing efforts and ensure rigorous user acceptance testing (UAT) processes are followed.
- Collaborate with management to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and training documentation.
Security & Access Management
- Administer user access, menu setups, and security permissions to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
Customer Service & Process Improvement
- Resolve daily operational issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Identify system and workflow improvements to enhance team productivity and business decision-making.
- Serve as a bridge between business user groups, ensuring system capabilities align with operational needs.
Communication
- Provide timely updates and professional communication to users regarding issue resolution and system changes.
Travel
- Periodic travel may be required within New York, Florida, Georgia, and other states for onsite support and project implementation.
