We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Associate to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of their operations, ensuring that customer orders are processed, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time. Your organizational skills and commitment to quality will help guarantee the seamless delivery of products to customers. This is a temporary-to-hire position located near Clifton Park, NY.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Shipping Associatewill include:
Oversee the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies.
Track, trace, and update the status of outgoing shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory logs through scanning and manual counts.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes, to move and transport products as needed.
Consolidate customer orders into crates or pallets for shipment.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize and coordinate shipping logistics.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to all safety protocols.
Interact with vendors, drivers, and customers with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Ensure accurate and timely shipment of products in accordance with company standards.
Participate in safety programs and follow all company procedures.
Aptitudes Requises
Qualifications of the Warehouse Shipping Associate:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 1-3 years of warehouse or similar experience preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft 365, and the ability to learn new business software quickly.
Willingness to work off-hours, weekends, and overtime as required by business needs.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical capability to perform warehouse tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating heavy equipment.
Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and moving heavy or awkward products is an advantage.
High mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn for potential career growth.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $19-$20/hr.
