Our well-established client is currently seeking an AV Field Integration Manager to join their growing team.  This is a hybrid position located in the Boston, MA area.

 

Responsibilities of the AV Field Integration Manager will include:

  • Oversee and participate in the installation of AV systems, including pulling low-voltage cables (e.g., Cat 5, 5e, 6, 6a, HDMI, speaker wire).
  • Supervise and perform terminations for various connectors (e.g., RJ45, DB9, XLR, 3.5mm).
  • Coordinate site deliveries and stage materials for installation.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions and coordination with contractors, general contractors, architects, electricians, and furniture vendors.
  • Supervise and install displays, mounts, equipment racks, ceiling-mounted projectors, projection screens, LED video walls, in-ceiling and pendant               speakers/microphones, wall panels, table cubbies, and more.
  • Ensure successful installation by reviewing floor plans, line diagrams, and rack elevations.
  • Submit daily progress reports to the project manager and team.
  • Work closely with field engineers responsible for system programming and commissioning.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity while on job sites.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project and upon completion.

 
Job Requirements

 

Qualifications of the AV Field Integration Manager:

  • 5+ years of experience supervising AV installations, troubleshooting, and servicing large-scale AV construction projects.
  • Proven expertise in LED video wall installation and supervision with multiple manufacturers.
  • Hands-on experience with rigging, hardpoint installation, and construction.
  • Familiarity with conferencing platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
  • Strong organizational skills, proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift over 50 lbs. and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and leaning for extended periods.
  • Clean driving record and willingness to travel, including weekend departures and overnight stays.
  • CTS Certification (Certified Technology Specialist).
  • Low Voltage/Electrical License (Licensure in CT/RI is a plus).
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Aerial Lift Certification.

 

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $100,000 - $120,000, DOE.
