Are you an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a dynamic and supportive work environment? Our well-established, multi-entity client near Ballston Spa, NY is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their high-performing finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced department where your attention to detail and drive for accuracy will be highly valued. We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys delivering high-quality work—and having fun while doing it.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist will include:

Process daily accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately
Review and verify incoming invoices and purchase requisitions
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Prepare, enter, and manage batches of invoices for timely data entry
Handle weekly check runs, including check recording and preparation for mailing
Issue manual checks as needed
Maintain organized and secure financial document filing systems
Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all financial recordkeeping

Requisitos

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with accounting operations in a multi-company environment is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable learning new software
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Critical thinking skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $22 - $25/hr.
