Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a temporary opportunity to put your technical skills to use? We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Technician to assist with deploying and setting up new equipment for end users. This is a temporary summer position located near Newburgh, NY.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Technician will include:

Unbox IT equipment and manage packaging disposal
Apply asset tags and set up host names in BIOS
Perform inventory tracking and management
Install software and complete validation tasks
Apply operating system and software patches
Transfer local files from old to new equipment
Make adjustments based on user validation feedback
Deploy equipment to end users and provide support as needed
Maintain accurate documentation of all tasks and updates
Handle additional tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications of the IT Support Technician:

Previous experience working with Chromebooks
Familiarity with ticketing systems
Proficient in MS Office, MS Windows, Chrome OS, Google Workspace, and Mac OS
Knowledge of projectors, smartboards, and interactive flat panels
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to pass a background check

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18-$19/hr.
