★★★ Stock Clerk ★★★ Location: Saratoga Springs, NY Pay: $17.80/hr to start Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Are you detail-oriented and organized, with a knack for keeping operations running smoothly? We're seeking a Stock Clerk for a full-time role in Saratoga Springs, NY. This position is responsible for supporting inventory operations through accurate material handling, storage, and distribution.
Responsibilities of the Stock Clerk will include:
Accurately pull materials from stock based on instructions, pick lists, or material transfers using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Maintain documentation for shortages, transfers, and stock issuance.
Store materials in an orderly and accessible manner, grouping similar items in designated areas.
Count and verify materials using a scale, ensuring accuracy.
Bag and tag materials for identification and traceability.
Deliver materials to departments and obtain required signatures.
Assist with physical inventory counts as needed.
Enter data from paperwork into the inventory database to ensure accurate transactions.
Research discrepancies and direct incoming materials to appropriate locations.
Requisitos
Qualifications for the role of Stock Clerk:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED, ability to work full-time.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, reach, stoop, and kneel.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 5-100+ lbs intermittently.
Preferred:
Experience in manufacturing, production, or inventory control.
Familiarity with stockroom procedures.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Technical training or relevant certifications a plus.
Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
