    Our client, located in Albany, NY, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join their team. This position requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills who can manage various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

     

    Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative will include:

    • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide accurate information to clients.
    • Prepare, type, and manage correspondence and memos.
    • Handle, forward, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Assist with basic order processing and ensure accurate order entry.
    • Conduct research and retrieve documents from local governmental agencies as needed.
    • Perform copying, scanning, and filing duties.
    • Prepare shipments and mailing packages.
    • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist with client orders, offering products and services tailored to client needs.
    • Adapt to a changing environment and take on additional responsibilities as necessary within a small office setting.

     
    Aptitudes Requises
     

    Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative:

    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Previous experience in a call center (inbound or outbound) is preferred.
    • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus, but not required.
    • Strong customer service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to follow directions efficiently.
    • Proficient phone etiquette with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is essential.
    • Experience with QuickBooks and Adobe Acrobat is desirable, but not mandatory.

     

    Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18+/hr.
