Our well-established client is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to join their team in the Albany, NY area. This is a temp-to-hire position that involves designing, installing, and maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms. May be required to perform duties outside of regular business hours as necessary.

This role involves designing, installing, and maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms. May be required to perform duties outside of regular business hours as necessary.

Responsibilities of the Network and Systems Admin:
*    Install and maintain personal computers, local and wide area networks, and associated peripheral equipment.
*    Install and configure file servers, print servers, communication servers, network switches, personal computers, and network/desktop printers.
*    Install and test wiring, including fiber optic cables, ensuring proper connectivity.
*    Diagnose computer and network issues either on-site or through help desk staff and user telephone consultations.
*    Collaborate with vendors to configure and troubleshoot routers, circuits, and third-party software applications.
*    Upgrade computer systems and peripheral equipment as needed.
*    Perform maintenance on non-PC user interfaces such as KRONOS Time and Attendance keypads.
*    Assist in testing new operating systems and software for compatibility and functionality with existing systems.
*    Attend technical education seminars to stay informed on the latest trends in information technology.
*    Other duties as assigned.
